           Late Ambadasrao Warpudkar College of Agriculture, Warpud, affiliated to Vasntrao Naik Marathawada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani started in August 2012 to provide higher education to the agricultural professionals & to cater the need of Agricultural Sector and farming community.
The Campus is located in the heart of Maharashtra state (India) at 16 KM away from Parbhani with other faculties of Agriculture viz.YCMOU Courses.
           The College is offering undergraduate programme of Eight Semesters (4 years) duration in course credit system with intake capacity of 60 students. The College is having well-furnished lecture halls, Seminar halls, Library, Computer lab, students counseling and placement cell, Hostels and sports and grounds facility. College possesses ten laboratories with state of art equipments and instruments. The College has 60 hectare of farm with moderately equipped irrigation facilities, farm machinery, implements and other infrastructural amenities like Poly House, Net Shade, Horticulture plantation, Plant Nursery, Poultry House,  Azolla Production Unit, Vermi compost Unit, Horse Unit.

Message from Principal's Desk:-

Dear Students and Parents,

India is an agricultural country. The Indian economy is basically agrarian. In spite of economic development & industrialization, agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy. As Mahatma Gandhi said, “India lives in villages & agriculture is the soul of the Indian economy”. Nearly 70% population depends directly on agriculture for its livelihood. Agriculture is the main stage of the Indian economy. Despite the share of agriculture in national income has come down, still agriculture continues to occupy a place of pride in the national economy. With this increasing importance of agriculture in national development, the government of Maharashtra took the decision to permit the non-government organizations to take up there in initiating private agriculture colleges under the control of the Maharashtra Council for Agriculture Education & Research established in 1984 at Pune.

Dadahari Gramvikas Sevabhavi Sanstha Warpud Late Ambadasrao Warpudkar College of agriculture Warpud Tq. & Dist. Parbhani is established in 2012 & affiliated with Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth Parbhani recognized by MCAER Pune, accredited as ‘C’ grade by VNMKV Parbhani. The college, right from its establishment has created an atmosphere most favorable for the student to fulfill their goals. Nowadays college is identified for its quality education, beautiful campus, well equipped & ventilated laboratories & classrooms, separate Hostel facilities for girls & boys within the campus. For the overall development of students, we are arranging different guest lectures, celebrating different days, arranging the quiz competitions, field visits. College gives more emphasis on creating a favorable learning atmosphere to study & encouraging students to achieve their future goals.

The Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) program offered to final year students aim to provide an opportunity to understand the rural situation in relation to agriculture and allied activities and also to transfer technology from lab to the land. The Experimental learning program educates students to plan for the project, study its viability, undergo training and execute projects to earn while they learn.
